About Me

Welcome to my wildlife photography website! My name is Leena Azzam, and I am a photographer based in the Greater Toronto Area. I have always had a love for nature and wildlife, and photography has allowed me to immerse myself in the beauty and majesty of the world that surrounds us.

My journey as a photographer began during Ontario’s first winter pandemic lockdown. Being an avid recreational soccer player, staying couped at home was entirely unappealing. A Canadian winter, however, was equally unappealing. Needing incentive to get outside in frigid temperatures, I purchased a Sigma 150-600mm lens, some warm layers, and headed out to see if my new hobby could make winter more tolerable. My hobby quickly turned into an abiding love. Since then, I have continued to follow my passion around the world, traveling to some amazing places, including the Canadian East Coast, Florida, and most recently, Tanzania.

On my website, you will find a collection of my favourite photographs, ranging from breathtaking landscapes to close-up shots of animals in their natural habitat. I hope that my photographs will inspire others to connect more deeply to this earth and its fascinating, and often mesmerizing, inhabitants.

Thank you for visiting, and please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or comments. I look forward to connecting with you!
